Incidents that Always Need to Be Reported

Changes to CDL status or DOT file
If you have a change to your CDL status or DOT medical file, you are required to contact the F|Staff Compliance Department immediately.

Moving Violations or Other Traffic Citations
In the event that you receive a traffic or other vehicle citation, including speeding tickets, parking violations, etc., you must report the citation to F|Staff Compliance within 2 hours of the incident.

Concerns with Your CDL
If you’ve been subject to non-moving CDL violations, including oversized/overweight loads, logbook issues, carrier disputes, or legal investigation, or if you’ve had a change in medical status, it may have impacted your CDL status. Be sure to notify Compliance for assistance.

Random Drug Screening

At any time, you may be notified by the Compliance Department that you need to provide samples for a drug and alcohol test. These tests are conducted monthly, and drivers are selected at random. If you receive notification about a random check, please contact the Compliance Department immediately and follow their instructions. For additional information about your rights and obligations please see, 49 CFR Part 382 and 49 CFR Part 40 of the FMCSA regulations.
