Truck drivers are essential to our way of life. They drive everything, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear to the items we use every day. And here at F|Staff, our drivers mean even more. We are a family.
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the loss of one of our own due to an unfortunate accident. On August 23rd, F|Staff driver Eddie Gutierrez was killed on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Jurupa Valley, California. His motorcycle was clipped by another motorist who was driving at a high rate of speed. He was a great man and a big part of our family of drivers. He enjoyed truck driving, and he always spoke highly of our carrier partners.
Fundraiser for the Family of Eddie Gutierrez
The Truck Driver Relief Fund is an organized fundraiser intended to help drivers in our community who have been directly impacted by Covid-19. With a monthly goal of $10,000, we aim to provide between $500 and $5000 in grants to support our family of drivers.
This month, we are raising money through our Truck Driver Relief Fund to help support Eddie’s family through this tragic loss.
